Vigour
Normal, has a big crown with hanging branches , the tree is quite difficult to form.

Blossom
Early, triploïd, self intolerant (bad quality of anther dust). The use of other varieties for pollination is required, suitable varieties are Beurré Hardy, Conference and Triomphe de Vienne.

Productivity
Early and regular with good yields. Because of the early flowering Beurré Alexandre Lucas is sensitive for frost demage during this period.

Picking period
Early October.

Shape
Big, regular, green, after time yellow.

Flavour
Very moderate taste, the pulp is juicy with a coarse and granular structure.
     
Shelf life 
Until late January. When stored under ULO-conditions, longer storage is possible, combined with a good shelf life.
